Based at Wetley Moor Alpacas, they let you pick your perfect pumpkin from a patch of over 2000, with one pumpkin included per ticket.

A family-run farm known for its traditional farming atmosphere, you can bring a wheelbarrow to pick your own pumpkins across a vast field dotted with scarecrows and there’s even an exciting woodland trail.

Highlights:

  • The “pick your own” vegetable garden offers a chance to harvest more than just pumpkins

Frankly Farms near Telford isn’t your typical animal petting farm – more than that, at this award-winning working farm you can bottle-feed the world’s smallest cows, and even go on a countryside trek with alpacas miniature sheep!

Plus indoor play areas and a cafe, kids and adults can also learn all about dairy farming and sustainable farming practices – bonus!

5. Proctors Pumpkin Patch, Leek

Next on the list, Proctors Pumpkin Patch (also known as Endon Farm Pumpkins) comes out on top with a perfect 5 out of 5 score on Google.

We especially loved this farm for its friendly vibes, and out little one had a whale of a time here too. Aside from the pumpkin patch, there is also a maize maze to wind you way around for a little extra fun.

Another thing we loved was there huge variety of pumpkins available for sale – from the extremely wonky and odd-shaped, an array of hues, and even some that were called ‘Batwings’ due to the black patterns on them.

Proctors Pumpkin Patch also proudly boasts having the biggest pumpkin in Staffordshire, so another reason to visit.

For me, the best thing about this place was the drink vans with delicious artisan hot chocolate, and I really recommend the pulled-pork baps from the food stands.
